What do you want in a Church?
Ultimately our desire is to exalt in Christ and equip believers for spiritual service (Col 1.15-20; Matt 28.18-20; 2 Tim 2.2). We do this through emphasizing the ‘classics’ of Christianity: discipleship, fellowship, outreach, and prayer. While it's important to examine the many aspects of what a church offers, one of the most important things to consider is how you can get involved and serve. What can you offer in this ministry?
We desire to be a Church that glorifies God through Christ-like service. We believe that God has given every Christian the mandate to be involved in the work of ministry (Eph 4.12). Each of our members takes advantage of service opportunities so that we truly are a working community.
We have broken the yearly calendar into “ministry emphasis seasons.” Thus, Prayer season is from November-January, Discipleship season is from February-April, Fellowship season goes from May-July, and Outreach season is August-October. During each ministry emphasis season that ministry receives our attention in small groups, Sunday services—and hopefully your life, too!

Outreach Aim
Prayer is one of the primary ways that God has ordained not only to establish our relationship to Him, but also to maintain that vibrant connection to the Lord on a daily basis (Isa 55:6). Prayer is also a significant act of worship that demonstrates our dependence on Christ and submission to His sovereign will (Psalm 34:17-18).
The goal of the fellowship ministry of the MCC is to display God's glory through an assembly of redeemed people who 'live out and proclaim' His work of salvation in us. The MCC has a high view of Biblical fellowship and recognizes the centrality of this doctrine in the life of the believer and the local church. Fellowship is much more than church events or activities. The doctrine of Biblical fellowship has it's foundation in the finished work of Christ on behalf of His people. As believers, we enjoy a unique bond in the spirit that those outside of Christ cannot experience. In light of this truth, we look for ways we can contribute to church ministry and build one another up in our relationships, our gatherings, and our worship.
The MCC Discipleship ministry stands on three pillars: study, stewardship and service.
