Master's Community Groups are weekly in-home gatherings for Discipleship, Fellowship, Outreach, and Prayer. Groups are led by elders or trained ministry leaders, and meet in different locations throughout the city during the week. The meetings normally last an hour and a half, and are open for your visit. We strongly urge anyone applying for membership to the MCC to be a part of a Master's Community Group; this ensures maximum fellowship and accountability for all who call The MCC their home church. The NT description of church is expressed through our MCG's; won't you join in?

Gladstone MCG (Kansas City North)

Our Master’s Community group is a diverse mix of friends knit together by Jesus Christ.  We currently have over ten individuals participating, ranging in age from elementary school to 'Empty-Nesters'.  Further, our group is comprised of married couples and singles.  So, married or single, young or old, join us on Wednesday nights from 6:45-8:15--you’ll fit right in!

Our group seeks to participate fully in the various ministry emphases of our church by devoting a portion of each calendar year to discipleship, fellowship, outreach and prayer.  During prayer season (November-January) you could expect our group to function like a home-prayer meeting.  Discipleship season (February-April) usually involves studying some aspect of Christian faith and commitment.  Fellowship season (May-July) is for connecting our lives and ministries together.  Rounding out the calendar, Outreach season (August-October) is a time for evangelism training and experience.  Yet, year-round our MCG is involved in Scripture memory, service, and outreach projects.

Merriam MCG

The Merriam MCG meets each Wednesday evening for fellowship, prayer, and the study of God's Word.  Our purpose is to bring God glory in a small group setting as we encourage and build one another up in discipleship, felloship, outreach, and prayer, on a weekly basis.   We begin our time at 6:45 and end at 8:15.  Come join us this Wednesday for good coffee, good dessert, and a great study!  We are currently studying through Paul's epistles in chronological order.
