Words convey meaning.  When we hear the phrase, “Sunday School” we are often reminded of animal ers and felt boards, or the means of education for thousands of children in nineteenth-century England.  Neither of these images convey what we hope to accomplish each Sunday morning from 9:30-10:15—so we changed the name!  During Equipping Hour, "EH," elementary school-aged children can attend classes where the Bible and Christian doctrine are taught appropriate for their age, and teens and s together study themes of our ministry emphases: Discipleship (Feb-Apr), Fellowship (May-July), Outreach (Aug-Oct), and Prayer (Nov-Jan).

During 'Outreach Season 2009', we will be studying the doctrine of sanctification, baptism, and the Lord's Supper.  Our time together will also include some interview sessions with some of our missionary partners via SKYPE.  We will also have the opportunity to study and discuss select portions of Will Metzger's book Tell the Truth.  To top it all off, we will be joined by our missionary partners from southeast Asia on September 6th and 27th.  We trust you will be richly blessed and built up in the faith this outreach season in equipping hour.  Hope to see you there.
